Quiet weather dominated the Sunflower State during the night, with 
increasing clouds from west to east. Overnight lows ranged from the 
upper 30s to the upper 40s for much of Kansas. Winds were light and 
variable overnight.

Today looks to start mainly quiet and dry, with increasing chances 
of showers and storms over the afternoon for western Nebraska, 
western Kansas, and most of Oklahoma. Afternoon high temperatures 
are forecast to reach the middle to upper 70s across the Central 
Plains. Winds will generally be out of the south at 10 to 20 mph 
with a few areas gusting to or near 30 mph.

Tonight looks to be active across the Central Plains, with 
continuous chances of showers and storms for central Nebraska, 
central and eastern Kansas, western Missouri, and northern Oklahoma. 
Overnight low temperatures are forecast to drop down to the upper 
40s across western Nebraska, to the lower 50s across eastern 
Oklahoma. Winds will be out of the south at 10 to 15 mph with gusts 
20 to 25 mph.
